This winter has been a mild one for us in the Pacific Northwest. At least, milder than I was expecting. I thought that La Niña would give us more snow this year but we have not seen an inch on the ground here yet this season. At least it finally got down into the 20s F (<0 C).
Highlights this last year were a trip recently to a nice marsh park in Canada, the Butterfly Garden on Vancouver Island, Mazama WA, and a trip accross Switzerland including the Olympic (IOC) Headquarters / Museum and Zermatt.
